The covering effect is related to the yellow hue, film thickness, color concentration and product structure. Not all yellow PPF has the same covering ability. The light yellow and low-saturation yellow paint films are more sensitive to the original car’s base color. So when applying on dark car paints such as black and dark blue, it is necessary to carefully confirm the final covering effect.
If you need to change from dark car paints like black and dark blue to light yellow, we recommend conducting actual vehicle application tests before bulk purchasing to confirm the covering power and final color.
Within the normal application range, our yellow PPF can maintain a stable base color. However, for light-colored or special-effect PPF such as light yellow, metallic yellow, and fluorescent yellow, excessive stretching may change the light reflection of the color layer or special-effect layer, resulting in a visual effect of lightening, whitening or color change.
When applying for areas that require significant stretching such as rearview mirrors, bumpers, grooves, we can provide you with samples for actual vehicle construction testing.
Please carry out the construction in an environment with a temperature of 25 ± 3 °C and a relative humidity of 50 ± 5 %. At the same time, the working space should try to avoid dust, oil stains and visible particles to prevent impurities from entering the PPF film and affecting the final construction effect.
