Easy to Maintain Surface
WrapMasterPPF matte color PPF adopts hydrophobic anti-fouling surface design with the water contact angle reaching over 85°. This makes water droplets less likely to remain on the membrane surface for a long time, which can reduce the adhesion of water stains, dust, and daily pollutants. It allows a matte surface easier to maintain a uniform and clean visual effect, and also reduces the workload of daily cleaning and maintenance.
Anti-Fingerprint Coating

Matte Color PPF Vs Matte Vinyl Wrap
The matte vinyl wrap is made of polyvinyl chloride and is essentially a decorative material with a rich color and surface effect options. However, it lacks toughness and is prone to cracking and penetration when hit by flying stones during high-speed driving. If your client requests a change in the car body color and also wants stronger protection against flying stones, impact, and scratches, then ordinary vinyl wrap is not the most suitable choice.
Our matte color PPF is made with a polymer aliphatic TPU base material. It has excellent physical elasticity and impact resistance. When the film surface is hit by flying stones, the material will absorb and disperse the impact force through instantaneous deformation, and then automatically return to its original state. TPU matte-finish protective film is a truly protective product, whereas traditional PVC protective films cannot achieve the same results.

Matte Color PPF Vs Gloss Color PPF
They can both combine the color effect with the TPU surface protection. However, the biggest difference between the two lies in the surface reflection effect and the final visual style.
Gloss Color PPF
Gloss finish can provide a more obvious mirror reflection effect, which can make the color look brighter and fuller, and present a visual effect close to high-gloss car paint. If your target market prefers high gloss, bright colors and traditional car paint texture, gloss color PPF is usually a more common choice.
Mate Color PPF
Matte finish reduces the mirror reflection on the surface. So the matte color PPF presents a softer, more stable visual effect and is particularly suitable for dark colors or sporty products, allowing the vehicle to achieve a more low-key, personalized appearance. In addition, because it does not easily produce noticeable glare, fine dust and minor surface imperfections are less likely to be directly reflected, as they would be with a high-gloss film.

Yes. For fully cured films, regular car washes are usually not a problem. However, Please avoid directing high-pressure water streams at the PPF’s edges, seams, and areas where the edges have already started to curl for extended periods of time.
The low reflection effect comes from the specially designed surface structure. When light shines on the film surface, the microscopic surface will produce more dispersed light reflection, which can provide a soft and low-gloss visual effect.
Therefore, during daily maintenance, it is recommended to avoid using products that may alter the surface gloss. We suggest using pH-neutral car cleaning products and clean with a clean microfiber cloth.
Please Do not use wax products, strong solvents, abrasives or polishing agents, and it is not recommended to perform traditional polishing on matte finish. Because wax or polishing products may change the optical effect of the film surface, making local areas appear brighter than the surrounding areas.
