Grey PPF Manufacturer in China
WrapMasterPPF grey PPF is suitable for full-car color changes, everyday paint protection, partial color changes, and customization projects. It helps reduce everyday scuffs and minor scratches, helping the car maintain its great appearance for longer. Before placing a bulk order or customizing grey PPF, you’ll need to confirm the color, finish, material, adhesive, thickness, and dimensions.
Our grey PPF utilizes imported color pigments and advanced coating processes to ensure a color difference (ΔE) of less than 1.5 between different batches. However, when applying film to an entire vehicle, we recommend using grey PPF from the same batch.
Additionally, the hydrophobic surface design allows water to bead and roll off more easily, reducing water spot buildup and helping to keep the vehicle’s exterior looking clean. Our grey PPF is ISO 9001 and RoHS certified, which can help you obtain import permits more easily and enhance customer trust.

A classic concrete grey with a clean, minimalist style. Ideal for sports cars, SUVs, and neutral-style customization projects.

Conveys an understated, aggressive aesthetic. Best suited for modern muscle cars, luxury executive sedans, and high-contrast dual-tone builds.

This color offers a clean, high-tech minimalism. Perfect for futuristic EVs, modern crossovers, and daily drivers.

With its cool-toned, textured grey finish, stealth grey has a high-tech look and is commonly used on business vehicles, performance cars, and high-end customization projects.

With its sophisticated graphite grey finish, Dravit grey gives a sense of stability. It is suitable for sports cars, commercial vehicles, and standard sedans.

With its highly reflective sheen, gloss grey rivals the quality of factory paint and is suitable for the entire model lineup.

With a finish that falls between gloss and matte, satin grey has a softer texture and is ideal for high-end customization projects, luxury cars, and sports cars.

A low-gloss grey has a sleek, understated look that beautifully accentuates the car’s lines. It is well-suited for cars with complex curves, such as sports cars and coupes.

This grey finish has a distinct metallic grain and exhibits rich depth when viewed in the light. It is ideal for high-end custom projects and vehicles used in promotional events.

With a texture that is even finer than metallic grey, pearlescent grey is ideal for stylish cars, luxury vehicles, and custom projects.

Under different lighting conditions and from various angles, the grey base reveals color variations such as blue, purple, pink, and green. It is ideal for displaying vehicles.

How to Prevent Dust Under Grey PPF?

During construction, implementing effective dust control measures can help you reduce negative reviews and return rates after the project is completed. Effective dust control during construction primarily involves these five aspects:
Application Environment
When applying grey PPF, we recommend doing so in a relatively enclosed, low-dust indoor environment. The floor of the work area should be swept clean, and foot traffic should be minimized to prevent dust from being stirred up.
Clean the Vehicle Body
Cleaning the vehicle’s surface before installation is also very important. Pay special attention to areas where dust tends to accumulate, such as door gaps, door handles, the edges of the side mirrors, and around the vehicle emblem.
Use of Application Solution

During installation, use an appropriate amount of application solution to help adjust the position of the protective film. Be sure not to apply too much solution, as this may make it difficult to secure the edges or result in poor adhesion.
Drain Excess Solution Properly
When using a squeegee, be sure to wipe from the center outward to gradually remove air bubbles. If you notice dust under the film, do not simply scrape it toward the edges. We recommend peeling back the film in small sections, removing the dust, and then reapplying the film and wiping it down again.
Minimize Film Peeling
Minimize the number of times the film is peeled back, because this may increase the risk of dust getting underneath it.
WrapMasterPPF Grey PPF Quality Tests
Color Consistency Test

Higher color consistency makes inventory management easier and helps prevent noticeable color variations during application. We compare products from different batches through color difference testing to ensure that their color difference (ΔE) is less than 1.5.
Film Thickness Test
Film thickness affects application performance and the protective capabilities of grey PPF. We conduct thickness measurements at various locations on the grey PPF to ensure that the thickness is uniform and within the specified range.
Adhesion Test
Proper adhesion between the film and the vehicle body can reduce the risk of peeling later on. We will focus on testing the initial adhesion, long-term adhesion, and adhesion performance of the grey PPF in both high- and low-temperature environments.
Stretchability Test

For grey PPF, its excellent elasticity allows it to conform well to various curved surfaces during installation. During testing, we apply appropriate tension to the PPF to observe any whitening, tearing, or changes in texture.
Self-Healing Test
Self-healing properties help reduce minor scratches caused by everyday use and prolong the film’s attractive appearance. We create minor scratches on the surface of the grey PPF film, then apply heat using a heat gun or other heat source to observe how the scratches heal.
UV & Aging Test
Since grey PPF is constantly exposed to sunlight and fluctuating temperature and humidity conditions, its UV resistance and weather resistance are critical to its durability. Through accelerated aging tests, we focused on comparing the grey PPF’s color, gloss, yellowing, and adhesive layer stability before and after testing.
Proper cleaning and maintenance can help the grey PPF retain its luster over the long term. We recommend first rinsing the vehicle’s surface with clean water to remove dust, dirt, and contaminants. Then, wash the surface using a neutral automotive cleaner and a microfiber towel. After washing, rinse off remaining cleaner with clean water, paying special attention to areas such as the license plate, door handles, and side mirrors.
Be sure to avoid cleaning when the vehicle is very hot. Additionally, if using a high-pressure water gun, do not spray the edges of the film for extended periods at close range to prevent the film from curling up.
We do not recommend waxing the car before installing grey PPF. This is because wax forms a protective layer on the paint surface, which may affect the adhesion of the PPF to the vehicle.
After installing the grey PPF, we recommend waiting 24 hours to check whether the edges of the film are peeling up. Only after confirming there are no issues should the vehicle be handed over to the customer. If the temperature in the work area is low and humidity is high, or if the vehicle has many complex curves, the observation period can be extended to 24 to 48 hours. If this is not possible, we recommend waiting at least 2 to 3 hours after installation before checking the edge adhesion.
Yes, grey PPF samples are available. We can provide color swatches, small film samples or A4 size cuttings for quality evaluation. You are usually responsible for sample fees and shipping costs, but they also can be refunded or deducted from the first official order.
For standard batches of grey PPF, our MOQ is 5 rolls per color or finish; trial orders of a single roll are accepted for select products. If you require grey PPF with custom branding, the MOQ is 50 rolls; for custom packaging, it is 100 rolls. We can accommodate smaller order quantities for first-time clients; please contact us for more details.
Our lead time for grey PPF depends on the order quantity. For small-volume orders of 1 to 10 rolls, our lead time is approximately 2 days; for orders of 11 to 50 rolls, the lead time is 4 days; and for large-volume orders of 51 to 100 rolls, the lead time is approximately 6 days. For bulk orders over 100 rolls, lead time is usually 10–15 business days depending on custom specifications. We will inform you of the specific lead time after the order is confirmed. Additionally, shipping time will be calculated separately based on the destination and shipping method.
We offer a 5- to 10-year warranty based on the grade and thickness of the custom grey PPF you select. Under normal use and professional installation, our warranty covers yellowing, cracking, delamination, and loss of self-healing properties.
