Black PPF Manufacturer
WrapMasterPPF’s black PPF uses a durable TPU substrate to give vehicles a black finish while protecting the original factory paint. We offer a range of black finishes, including gloss black, satin black, matte black, and metallic black, to meet various needs such as full-car wrapping, partial wrapping, and vehicle upgrades.
Our Black PPF adhesive utilizes pressure-sensitive acrylic technology. Its initial tack is strong enough to secure the film in place while allowing installers to lift, reposition, and slide the film for precise alignment, thereby improving installation efficiency.

Advantages of WrapMasterPPF Black PPF

After undergoing a hydrophobic surface treatment, water droplets do not tend to remain on the PPF surface for long periods of time, and dust and mud are easier to clean off.

Our quality membrane material reduces the risk of fading, yellowing, and cracking in sunlight and high-temperature environments, helping to maintain a consistent black appearance.

Minor scratches and fine swirl marks can gradually disappear or become less visible when exposed to heat from sunlight or a heat gun.

Our PPF has a certain degree of flexibility and elasticity, allowing it to better conform to the curves of the vehicle’s body and complex edges, thereby improving installation efficiency.

Applications of WrapMasterPPF Black PPF

In addition to providing paint protection, black PPF can transform the original factory paint color of a car into finishes such as mirror, matte, or satin. This makes it ideal for developing a two-in-one project that combines color customization with paint protection, thereby increasing the added value of each vehicle project.

High-gloss black and metallic black finishes can help create a more premium look for luxury cars and sports cars. In addition, black PPF can be paired with the vehicle’s original color to create a two-tone design, enhancing the car’s visual depth and making it ideal for customization projects.

Black PPF can be applied to chrome trim on the vehicle body, window trim, door handles, and mirror housings, among other components, to transform the original finish into black. Since these applications cover a small area and offer a high degree of flexibility, they are well-suited as value-added service options.

A vehicle’s hood, front bumper, side mirrors, and other areas are prone to scratches from flying rocks and gravel. Applying black PPF to these specific areas provides additional paint protection, making it ideal for customers on a budget or those who need to focus on protecting high-risk areas.
What Do Our Clients Say About WrapMasterPPF Black PPF?
Our Black PPF is available in a standard thickness of 7.5 mil (approximately 0.190 mm). This thickness provides a balance between paint protection, flexibility, and installation performance, making it suitable for full-car applications, exterior upgrades, and partial protection.
Transparent PPF preserves the original paint color while helping to protect against stone chips and minor scratches, making it ideal for consumers who want to maintain their vehicle’s original appearance.
Compared to transparent PPF, black PPF alters the vehicle’s original appearance by providing a black finish, while also offering self-healing and protective properties, making it suitable for applications that combine protection with a color change.
- Raw Material Inspection: Inspect TPU substrate, pigments, coating materials, and pressure-sensitive adhesives prior to production to verify compliance with specifications and batch consistency.
- In-Line Color and Coating Inspection: Monitor black color consistency, coating thickness, and coating uniformity during the coating and production processes to ensure stability throughout continuous production.
- Full-Width Visual Inspection: After film formation, a visual inspection is conducted to identify bubbles, particles, scratches, wrinkles, and coating defects, preventing finished products with obvious cosmetic defects from entering the market.
- Finished Product Winding and Sampling Testing: After winding is complete, samples are tested by batch. Packaging and shipment proceed only after confirming that the product meets specifications.
To prevent dust from getting under the film, you should perform the installation in a clean, enclosed environment with minimal airflow. Before beginning the installation, we recommend carefully wiping down the vehicle’s surface with a lint-free cloth, paying special attention to removing dust, particles, and fibers.
While applying the film, wear lint-free gloves to keep the film and its backing paper clean. Use a spray bottle to apply an installation solution so that the film can float on the vehicle’s surface and be positioned correctly. Then, use a clean felt-edged squeegee to remove the installation solution, air bubbles, and small particles.
