Why Choose WrapMasterPPF Matte Car Wrap?

Flexible PVC and heat-forming performance help you wrap bumpers, mirrors, wheel arches, and recessed areas with less difficulty.

Our film gives you more room for alignment during installation and helps reduce rework. It can also be removed cleanly later with no adhesive residue.

A wider roll helps you cover large body panels with fewer seams, giving you a cleaner full-car wrap result and cutting installer-related complaints and warranty return rates.

We can provide matte metallic, matte color shift, matte carbon fiber, and matte liquid metallic options, offering more choices across different styles and price ranges.
Stable Matte Finish After Stretching
Our matte car wrap is available in flexible polymeric PVC and selected cast PVC constructions. Some ultra-matte series use a PET release liner to create a smoother surface. Our film offers ≥130% longitudinal elongation and ≥150% transverse elongation, giving you more room to shape it around complex body panels. It is designed to stretch without obvious color change or cracking, helping you keep a more even matte appearance across the vehicle. If wrinkles appear during installation, you can use a heat gun to help the film recover. It reduces rework, film waste, and finish differences on difficult areas.

Stable Adhesion Without Lifting
When you wrap doors, bumpers, recessed areas, or panel edges, the adhesive must be easy to position at first and hold firmly after application. Our matte car wrap uses a Henkel solvent-based acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive with low-tack, repositionable, and slidable properties. This gives you more time to align the film and reduces the need to repeatedly lift and reapply it during installation. After pressure is applied, the adhesive builds a stronger bond to help the film stay in place around curves, edges, and recessed areas. With an adhesive thickness of 25±2 μm and adhesive strength of 18 N/25 mm, the film helps reduce edge lifting, rebound, and movement after wrapping. You can achieve a more secure finish with less rework, fewer callbacks, and lower material waste.

Cases of Our Matte Car Wrap

Long hours of sun exposure were a major concern for this matte black wrap project. The vehicles were often parked outdoors, so the customer needed a film that could handle high surface temperatures without early lifting or visible changes in the matte finish. We recommended a heat-resistant matte PVC wrap with stable acrylic adhesive for the full-car application. Extra attention was given to doors, panel edges, and curved areas where lifting usually starts first. After installation, the film stayed more secure under daily outdoor use. This helped reduce early rework and gave the customer more confidence in using the same matte black film for later projects.

The customer in Colombia wanted to expand beyond standard matte black and grey. They asked for colors that could sit at a higher price point without looking too glossy. After discussion, we supplied several matte metallic and matte pearl options for testing. The lower-reflection surface kept the matte character, while the metallic effect gave the colors more depth. After sampling, the customer selected several finishes for a wider local product range.

This project involved several SUVs with large bumpers, wheel arches, mirrors, and deep recesses and compound curves. The main problem was not the flat body panels, but the amount of stretching needed around difficult shapes. A film with poor flexibility would have increased the chance of cracking, rebound, or wasted material. We supplied a flexible matte military green wrap with good elongation and repositionable adhesive. The customer could adjust the film more easily before final squeegee pressure and use heat to shape it around complex areas. The job required fewer reapplications on difficult panels, while the matte appearance stayed more even across the finished vehicles.
Good matte car wrap maintenance starts after the vehicle is delivered. We recommend that you clean matte car wraps by hand with a pH-neutral shampoo and a soft microfiber cloth. Remove stains early instead of waiting for the next full wash. Do not use wax, polish, or gloss-enhancing cleaners. They can create shiny patches and make different panels look uneven. Hard-brush automatic car washes should also be avoided.
After installation, give your customer simple care instructions. Proper matte vinyl wrap care can help the wrap keep its matte look longer and reduce avoidable customer complaints or early replacement.
Yes. We supply wholesale matte car wrap and support OEM and private label car wrap programs for different order volumes.
If you are building a new product line, we suggest starting with a smaller group of popular matte colors before expanding the range. For larger projects, send us your target colors, roll specifications, packaging requirements, and expected quantity. We can help you set up a matte wrap range that is easier to restock.
Yes. A matte car wrap can show fingerprints, water spots, and oily marks more easily than some gloss finishes, especially on dark colors such as matte black or grey. If the vehicle is handled often during installation or parked outdoors, these marks may become more noticeable.
We recommend wiping fingerprints with a clean microfiber cloth before delivery and drying the vehicle after washing instead of letting water air-dry. For matte wrap water spots, remove them early with a pH-neutral cleaner made for vinyl. Avoid wax or polishing products, because they can leave shiny patches on the matte surface.
You can wash a matte car wrap, but we do not recommend automatic car washes with hard brushes. Repeated brushing can leave marks on the matte surface and may put extra stress on film edges.
If you are working on vehicles with simple curves or need to control material costs, polymeric PVC matte car wrap is a practical choice. For bumpers, mirrors, deep recesses, or full vehicle wraps, cast matte car wrap is usually a better option. Cast matte car wrap offers better conformability and is made for complex curves and recessed areas, making it more suitable for higher-end projects. However, cast film also costs more. If you are wrapping a full vehicle with many complex panels, cast vinyl wrap can reduce installation time and rework on complex panels.
Proper matte car wrap storage helps you avoid surface marks, adhesive changes, and film deformation before installation. You need to keep unopened rolls in a clean, dry indoor area away from direct sunlight, heat, moisture, and large temperature changes. Store matte vinyl wrap rolls in their original packaging and avoid placing heavy materials on top of them.
Proper vinyl wrap roll storage protects your inventory and helps reduce film waste and storage-related problems.
